Opening session of Parliament (2 April 1860)

The April 2 1860 Vittorio Emanuele II inaugurated the first session of the VII legislature of the Subalpine Parliament, which for the first time also included representatives of Lombardy, Emilia and Tuscany, following the plebiscites and elections of March 1860.
