The National Museum of Risorgimento The Italian University of Turin launches the third edition of “Under the arcades of the Risorgimento”, the summer series of events, games, culture and music dedicated to children and families. From June to September 2026, the portico and the atrium of Carignano Palace They are transformed into an open space for games, culture, readings, performances, and music for children and families. Building on the success of over 19.000 attendees in 2025, the initiative offers a rich calendar of events open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:15 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.
Among the novelties of this edition, the rooms of the Museum will be animated by a show dedicated to the theme of the game: “In play. Art and play from Risorgimento to date”, which will strengthen the playful and educational dimension of the Museum's summer offerings. Permanent play areas will also be set up with historical and contemporary games—including a new Game of the Goose Risorgimento created especially for this edition — chess, capture the flag and floor games for children, as well as rest areas for relaxation and reading.
The Museum also organizes entertainment activities for the little ones and acts as a starting point for the summer workshops of the Beautiful Season by the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation.
