Cinzano: from Turin to the world

Journey of discovery
of an Italian icon

The exhibition celebrates 260 years of Cinzano, a brand that has successfully intertwined its corporate history with the evolution of Italian customs and traditions. It offers a journey of discovery through a long history that began in Turin and has become a symbol of Italianness around the world. The exhibition is divided into three thematic sections, illustrating Cinzano's cultural heritage spanning nearly three centuries of passion, tradition, and experience in the production of vermouth and sparkling wines.

The first section is dedicated to the brand's advertising, showcasing the exceptional artistic output that Cinzano has promoted, drawing on the collaboration of the most important illustrators and graphic designers of the last two centuries, including Leonetto Cappiello, Adolf Hohenstein, Nico Edel, and Raymond Savignac. The second section presents historical documents and photographic material, retracing the brand's history, from its origins in Turin to its international success. The third and final section showcases the brand's collections of historical objects, from plaques to trays, from glasses to antique bottles dating back to the 19th century. The exhibition is curated by the Scientific Committee of the Cinzano Archives and coordinated by Paolo Cavallo, head of the company's historical archives, and Elisabetta Dusi.

From October 5, 2017 to January 14, 2018; extended to February 11, 2018.
