From 21 October 2026 to 4 April 2027, in the Corridor of the Hall of the Italian Chamber of Palazzo Carignano, the National Museum of Risorgimento Italian presents At the Table! Cuisine, food and taste in Italy Risorgimento, edited by Ilaria Porciani. From the end of the eighteenth century, when French cuisine dictated the law, to the First World War, the exhibition follows Italians at the table: from the café to the restaurant, from the osteria to the piola, from Cavour To Pellegrino Artusi. Food as the key to understanding the society, economy, and politics of a country that was evolving, even on its plate.
