Another substantial part of the fund (1690 -1814) holds papers related to the Mangarda counts and the Mangarda farmstead in Volpiano. A small part collects the papers relating to Filippo Bottone, first Count Bottone of San Giuseppe, in 1777 intendant of Asti and in 1783 intendant of Tortona, and the papers of his son Vittorio Amedeo. The largest part of the fund preserves the papers of Emilio Bottone (1794-1877), son of Vittorio Amedeo
