Il National Museum of the Risorgimento Italian from Turin is happy to host, on the days of Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October 2026, the 10th National Conference of AICI (Association of Italian Cultural Institutions), entitled "Italy is culture. Thirty years of history of the institutes: milestones and new challenges.".

The event, organised in collaboration with the Museum and the Polo of the 900th century, celebrates a significant milestone: the thirtieth anniversary of Law 534/1996, a fundamental point of reference for the protection and promotion of cultural institutions in our country.

The opening and the first session (Friday, October 9)

The works will start on Friday 9 October at 15.00 pm at the Polo del '900. The institutional opening will see the participation of the President of the National Museum of Risorgimento Italian, Luisa Papotti, who will bring greetings from the institution together with the other expected authorities.

Following this, in the first session entitled “Thirty years after law 534/1996”, the Director of the Museum will speak, Alexander Bollo, with a contribution dedicated to the theme "Between Old and New Forms of Cultural Participation," focusing on the evolution of audiences and new models of public engagement.

The Museum is at the forefront of the debate on digital and AI.

The day of Saturday 10 October will take place entirely in the suggestive Sala Codici of the National Museum of Risorgimento Italian (Square Carlo Alberto 8).
