Founded alongside the Museum, our Library preserves the history of the Risorgimento through a constantly growing collection, fueled by targeted acquisitions and donations. The collection includes a highly significant newspaper and periodical section, with 19th-century periodicals, newspapers, and special editions that recount Italy's journey towards unification.

The Library preserves the major newspapers and periodicals of the Risorgimento period:
- "Il Risorgimento", "La Gazzetta ufficiale del Regno", "L’Armonia"
- "La Gazzetta del Popolo" from the first issue of 1848
- Illustrated newspapers of the nineteenth century such as "Mondo Illustrato"
- Satirical-political periodicals: "Il Fischietto", "Il Lampione", "Lo Spirito folletto", "Don Pirlone", "Il Pasquino"

Is it possible to borrow books?
No. The collection is available for consultation on-site only for reasons of protection and conservation. Reproductions can be provided if necessary.
Is it possible to receive research assistance?

Can I enter the library with my own books?
Yes, personal books are allowed.
